Speaker Bios:

Kai Huang

Kai Huang is a co-founder of Guitar Hero and has been the President and CEO since 1999. Publishers of the popular Guitar Hero franchise, RedOctane was acquired by Activision in June 2006.

Prior to RedOctane, Mr. Huang was co-founder and CEO of Adux Software, a software company developing solutions for the server appliance market. Adux Software was sold in 1999. From July 1994 to August 1998, Mr. Huang was a consultant with Accenture where he worked with Fortune 500 clients in the area of supply chain management. Mr. Huang holds a BA in computer science from the University of California at Berkeley.

Dennis Fong

Dennis Fong is the CEO and Founder of Raptr, the leading social networking platform for gamers. Dennis previously co-founded three companies: Xfire, an instant messenger designed for PC gamers that reaches over 15 million users (acquired by Viacom/MTV for $120 million); Lithium, the leading provider of Social CRM solutions for the enterprise; and Gamers.com, rated the #1 gaming portal by Nielsen in ’99. Raptr has raised over $12 million dollars in financing from Accel Partners and The Founders Fund.

Dennis is probably better known as “Thresh” in gaming circles as the world champion of Doom, Quake, and Quake II and was called the “Michael Jordan of video games” by the Wall Street Journal and “King of the Gamers” by the Washington Post. Dennis was the world’s first celebrity pro gamer and once won John Carmack’s Ferrari in a Quake tournament.

Sizhao Yang

Sizhao "Zao" Yang is currently in corporate development and strategy at Zynga. He co-created Farmville from MyMiniLife technology. He was the CEO/Founder of MyMiniLife, which underlies the technology behind Farmville, Treasure Isle, Petville, and Fishville. He's launched/created products or companies that are responsible for ~180 million users.
