2011-2012 Monte Jade Executive Mentorship Program: Mentoring for Career Advancement
Starts in October 2011
Program Format
The primary goal of the mentorship program is to
provide various opportunities for mentees to interact with mentors and each
other in small group settings, and foster the development of long-term
relationships. The highlights of 2011-2012 program design includes: 1) panel
discussions and various career advancement workshops for all participants, 2)
small group interactions with a targeted 4:1 mentee to mentor ratio within a
mentoring “family”, and 3) special topic dinners with some of the most
accomplished Asian American leaders in Silicon Valley to encourage continually
dialogue and relationship building.
Around 40 spots will be available this year and mentees will be assigned into a mentoring family that best meet their professional development needs. Each mentoring family will have one peer mentor from past mentorship programs to assist the mentees to build a long-term relationship with the mentor.
